Compliance & Documentation
An aerosol is a Class 2.1 dangerous good. We prepare the documents your customs broker, your retail compliance team and your insurer will ask for — before the container leaves, not after.
Documents that travel with every shipment
Aerosol shipments get delayed at exactly one point: paperwork that does not match the cans in the box. Our export set is prepared per SKU and per shipment.
- SDS in GHS format, in the language the destination market requires
- TDS with performance data for the exact formulation shipped
- UN1950 dangerous goods declaration and transport documentation
- Packing list with cans per carton, cartons per pallet, pallets per container
- Commercial invoice and certificate of origin; HS classification confirmed with your customs broker
- Batch certificate of analysis and label artwork proof
Labelling for your market
A can that is compliant in one country can be non-compliant in the next. Before printing, we check your artwork against the requirements of the destination market and return a proof.
- Hazard warnings and signal wording required for flammable aerosols
- Multilingual label sets where the market demands more than one language
- Batch or lot code and production date coding
- Importer or responsible-person details on the label where the market requires them
- Net content and can size statements in the required units
Chemical compliance
For most markets the questions are the same: what is in the can, how much solvent does it release, and can you prove it. We supply the answers per SKU.
- REACH and SVHC statements for EU-bound products
- RoHS statements where the product falls in scope
- VOC content data in g/L for each formulation
- Propellant declaration — no CFC propellants are used
- Solvent and component disclosure under NDA where a registration file requires it
Transport, storage and who registers what
We supply the classification, the declaration and the storage guidance. Product registration or notification in the destination market normally belongs to the importer, and we will tell you plainly which document you still have to file yourself.
If your market needs a test report from a third-party laboratory, we can commission it as part of the project so that the report refers to your exact formulation.
