2. Clogged nozzle: As solvents evaporate, the paint thickens and can clog the spray nozzle. Shaking may not fix this.

3. Separation: The paint pigments separate from the solvent carrier. Even with vigorous shaking, you may get uneven color.

4. Skin formation: The paint forms a rubbery layer on the surface inside the can, blocking the dip tube.
